Riverside Park provides full RV hook ups as well as tent spaces for camping. Reservations are recommended by calling the Camp Host - Chuck at 208-431-2977.

Refund Policy
There is a 50% refund offered until 90 days prior to event (May 27,2012). Rollover to our 2013 race will be honored. If you are using a rollover from 2011, please contact the race director at info@vikingman.org.
Packet Pick Up/Late Registration
Packet pick up is 2:00 - 9:00 pm Friday, August 24, 2012 at the Fairfield Inn. If you cannot make it by 9:30, you MUST contact the race director at: info@vikingman.org to arrange for race day pick up.
There will be NO race-day registration.
Important Race Weekend Information
Wave starts will be posted at packet pick-up.
Race start times are as follows:
- 7:30 - Half Triathlon
- 7:45 - Olympic Triathlon
- 7:55 - Duathlon (same start line as Olympic Triathlon)
- 8:15 - Half Marathon (starts by transition area. See course maps)
USAT Membership
All Vikingman events are USAT sanctioned. All participants must be current members of USAT OR purchase a one day permit for $10 at registration. All established USAT rules will be in effect and will be strictly enforced. You must show your USAT member card and your photo ID at packet pick up –no exceptions. If you are an annual member and do not bring your member card to packet pick up, you will be required to purchase a one day license at that time. The fee will be applied to your renewal if you keep your proof of payment. Friends and family will not be allowed to pick up anyone's packet. USAT no longer allows the purchase of memberships at packet pick up.
Awards and Amenities
- All participants registered by July 15th will be guaranteed a race t-shirt
- Finisher medals to all those crossing finish line
- Depth of age group awards determined by total participants

Weather/Water Temp/Foul Weather Plan
Average temperature on race day: 85 with low in the 50's.
USAT Wetsuit rules will apply – participants allowed to wear a wet suit without penalty in any event sanctioned by USA Triathlon up to and including a water temperature of 78 degrees Fahrenheit. When the water temperature is greater than 78 degrees, but less than 84 degrees Fahrenheit, age group participants may wear a wet suit at their own discretion, provided however that participants who wear a wet suit within this temperature range shall not be eligible for prizes or awards. Age group participants shall not wear wet suits in water temperatures equal to or greater than 84 degrees Fahrenheit.

For safety reasons, Vikingman staff reserves the right to modify or cancel a race due to severe weather conditions. When severe weather is present, all precautions will be made to ensure the safety of the athletes.
Chip Timing by Montana Timing
Our event is timed by Montana Timing using Jaguar Technology. It is a chip timed event. Each participant will be required to wear a timing chip in order to be counted in the results. Timing chips are assigned according to bib numbers and will be distributed at packet pick up. You will be responsible to have your chip on your ankle race morning. No chip = no time! ALL TIMING CHIPS SHOULD BE RETURNED AFTER YOU CROSS THE FINISH LINE. There is a $50 fee charged if your chip is not returned. Awards are based on chip times. Results will be posted on Montana Timing website race day.
