The Course
Half-Distance: 1.2 mile swim – 56 mile bike – 13.1 mile run
Aqua Bike: 1.2 mile swim – 56 mile bike
Swim will be in the Snake River with the current in your favor.
Bike is a well known local loop with flats, rollers, and beautiful scenery.
The 13.1 mile run includes trail and road with a beautiful view of Mt Harrison.
The swim cut-off time will be 1hour and 10 minutes after the start of the last wave. The bike cut off time will be 4 hours after that last swimmer leaves the water. The total time for the race is 8 hours after the start of the last wave. The course officially closes at 3pm for all participants.
All participants must observe course cut off times and USAT Rules and Regulations. Failure to meet cut off times will result in disqualification and removal from the course. While on the bike course all athletes are required to follow all traffic laws. Please be aware that there are railroad crossings on both the bike and run. While the railroad is working with us to hold the trains as much as possible during race time, if you get caught when a train crossing is used, you MUST follow traffic laws.
